About
West Virginia has always powered America. To keep it that way, we need a modern, reliable, and affordable electric grid that supports jobs, fuels growth, and protects our way of life.
At West Virginians for Reliable and Affordable Energy, we believe in strengthening our state’s energy backbone by building the next generation of transmission infrastructure. Without these upgrades, families, businesses, and communities face higher electric bills, less reliable service, and lost economic opportunities.
We fight for common-sense policies that modernize the grid and ensure West Virginians stay in control of our energy future.
Leadership
Born and raised in Martinsburg, West Virginia, former Senate President Craig Blair leads West Virginians for Reliable and Affordable Energy. He’s dedicated to modernizing our electric grid, lowering energy costs, and keeping West Virginians in control of our energy future while protecting the state’s role in powering America.
A lifelong West Virginian, Robert “Bob” Orndorff brings decades of experience advising multiple state governors and shaping energy policy that supports jobs and strengthens the state’s role as a national energy leader. A past president of the West Virginia Oil and Natural Gas Association and active leader with Philanthropy West Virginia and the Boy Scouts, Bob helps guide strategies to keep West Virginia’s energy affordable, reliable, and locally controlled.
